Donations
You can make cash donations at any time. You can specify that your donation be used to support a specific program. If you prefer not to restrict your contribution, it will be used where the need is greatest.

Tribute Gifts
This is a thoughtful way to honor the memory of someone important to you. You can also honor someone on a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary, graduation, promotion, or significant achievement.

Planned Giving
There are a variety of ways to structure a planned gift to the MHA in Genesee County that can help you to minimize both your current taxes and your estate taxes. Approaches to Planned Giving may include bequests, a retirement plan gift whereby the MHA is designated as the final beneficiary of your retirement or pension funds, a gift of an existing life insurance policy or the purchase of a new life insurance policy designating the MHA as the beneficiary, or a current gift of cash or appreciated securities. Naming Opportunities
A named gift enables you to support specific or general activities of the MHA and to honor a family member, friend or colleague in perpetuity. A group of donors can pool their gifts to make a significant contribution in honor of a colleague.
